The day before our wedding | 4 May 2012

Me and my then still fiancé(Christie) enjoyed breakfast after we dropped Gavin off at school. We decided to try “Eat at 43” in Krugersdorp and they did not disappoint.
After our meal, while enjoying the last sips of our cappuccinos, a praying mantis came for a quick visit and even ‘posed’ for some photos.. cute little friendly critter 🙂At twelve I went to pick up the dresses. Back at home, Lelanie (my sis), was already waiting for me. It was also time for Christie to get Gavin and for them to head through to Pretoria for the night. We said our goodbyes and parted ways. Lelanie whisked me away for the rest of the day, with me not having a clue where we’ll be spending the night!

FIRST STOP:

Hakunamata Health Spa

What a lovely surprise! The love of my life booked me in for a full body massage, and my sister enjoyed a Hot Stones back, neck and shoulder massage.

PURE BLISS!!

We relaxed in the gardens for a while before heading to …

SECOND STOP:

A dear friend of mine and the lady who made our wedding cake. They live on a farm right next to the Rhino and Lion Park, nestled in the Cradle of Humankind.

We spent the evening chatting away while having a fondue. And we ended the night with some coffee under the moon, while listening to some jackals and hienas from the park next door.

China Mall Success!!

We went to China Mall this past Sunday and it was NOT in vain!

I have FINALLY found the blue cardboard I was looking for.. YAY! So we can finally start making the invites and then start working on the favours. I am super excited as I have made a final sample of the invite design last night and we are both happy with it 😀

Wedding Expo – April 2011

A definite MUST ATTEND for every bride to be!!

At first I thought it was not necessary for me to go, because I already knew what I wanted as a dress, jewellery, decor, colours, theme, invites, favours etc.. etc.. 🙂

I decided to go anyway and I was NOT dissapointed! My mother, grandmother and sister joined me on the 10th of April 2011 at the Coca-Dola Dome.
